Why it is free

A tool, not another service with a price plan

We make BoxLab, a packaging editor. These tools grew out of the same work and solve the jobs that come up here every day. So we opened them in full, to everyone.

No sign-up
Open the page, type the figures in, take the result. No account needed.
No settings to wade through
Each tool is built around one job — from laying parts on a sheet to working out a pallet.
No paid features
Everything a tool can do is there from the first run. No PRO, no limits, no trial period.

Where the box itself comes from

Pick a template, set the sizes in numbers, add your artwork and take away a dieline a factory will accept. Corrugated and rigid boxes, tubes, bags, folding cartons, cups, cans and flexible packaging.

What this costs elsewhere

You save more than USD 2,000 a year

The yearly plans of the same programs: about USD 2,500 for pallet stacking (Cape Pack Advanced), USD 240 for imposition, about USD 245 for cutting layouts. Add the one-off licences — USD 199 for barcodes and USD 299 for personalisation. And that leaves out the programs that quote only on request.

Here it is nothing. All the services are open in full, with no account and no limits.
